Some of the best moments of a wedding weekend happen when nothing is scheduled. The Friday evening when everyone finally exhales. The slow Sunday morning before the drive home. At Ella's Vineyard, those moments have a place to happen. The 32-acre hilltop estate in Paso Robles Wine Country gives your guests a full weekend, not a window, and the property is designed to help the weekend feel relaxed, personal, and less rushed.

Ella's Vineyard in Creston offers full weekend weddings on a 32-acre hilltop estate in Paso Robles Wine Country, with a farmhouse sleeping 14 guests, ceremonies for up to 200 beneath a centuries-old oak tree, and a rustic barn reception. An open vendor policy welcomes outside caterers with manager approval, beer and wine service runs until 9:30 pm, and venue manager Anna Watterworth oversees the day while couples arrange their own wedding planner separately.

After more than a decade of photographing weddings and planning their own, Katherine and Josh Morris saw the value of creating a venue where couples could slow down and spend meaningful time with family and friends. The farmhouse, the centuries-old oak tree, the rolling hills stretching out in every direction- none of it was accidental. It was built for couples who wanted their guests actually to experience the day rather than race through it.

Vineyard Shapes Paso Robles Weekend Weddings

What a Full Weekend Looks Like for Your People

Your guests do not drive out to Paso Robles Wine Country just for a few hours. They come for the weekend. From the Friday arrival at the farmhouse to the slow Sunday morning on the wraparound porch, every part of the property gives them somewhere to be, something to enjoy, and no reason to rush.

They Arrive at Something That Feels Personal

Ella's Vineyard sits on a hilltop in Paso Robles Wine Country, overlooking rolling hills and surrounding vineyards in every direction. The setting reads grand from a distance, but the moment guests step onto the property, the feeling shifts. It's intimate and warm, more like a family's backyard than a commercial event space, which is exactly how we've always wanted it to feel.

Katherine and Josh Morris have owned and operated the estate since 2018, and their family-owned approach continues to shape how guests experience the property.

The Farmhouse Keeps the Family Close Together

Fourteen of your most important people can stay in the 3,000 square foot farmhouse for two nights, included with your wedding package. That means parents, siblings, and the wedding party wake up together, share meals, and spend real time with the couple before and after the ceremony. No rushing back to separate rooms right after the celebration.

The wraparound porch alone makes mornings worth looking forward to. Panoramic sunrise views across the Italian vines and 32 acres of rolling hills set a tone.

A Ceremony Beneath the Oak Tree

Couples come from across California, specifically to exchange vows under our centuries-old property's iconic oak tree. It's one of those features that photographs can't fully capture. The ceremony setting brings together vineyard views, rolling hills, and the farmhouse backdrop in one memorable location. Up to 200 guests can be seated for the ceremony, keeping the moment close and personal.

For couples who want a broader vista, the highest point of the property looks out over miles of rolling hills and vineyards. Either way, you're saying your vows somewhere that feels genuinely earned.

The Reception Flows Naturally Into the Evening

After the ceremony, guests can move naturally into the reception experience. The rustic barn creates a relaxed place for dancing, while the lawn gives guests room to gather, play, and enjoy the hilltop setting. With Anna and the team helping guide the day, your family can stay present instead of managing setup or timing.

Our venue manager, Anna Watterworth, brings more than ten years of professional experience in the wedding industry. She's the one who makes sure the evening moves without the couple or their families having to manage anything. The bar opens after the ceremony, and beer and wine service runs until 9:30 pm, with two signature cocktails available until 8:00 pm.

Paso Robles Makes the Whole Weekend Better

One of the genuine advantages of hosting a Paso Robles Wine Country wedding is what's waiting just down the road. The city of Paso Robles has built a reputation for excellent restaurants, tasting rooms, and local events, and your out-of-town guests will find no shortage of reasons to extend their trip by a day. For couples, it means you can point loved ones toward a full itinerary beyond the estate itself.

The vineyard also changes across seasons. Spring brings green vines and cool mornings. Summer deepens the color across the hills. Fall is harvest, and the estate takes on a different character entirely. Each season produces something genuinely distinct for your photos and your experience.

Conclusion

A Paso Robles Wine Country wedding at Ella's Vineyard isn't a single evening. It's a full weekend on a 32-acre hilltop estate, with farmhouse lodging for 14, a ceremony under a centuries-old oak tree, and a team that handles every detail so you never have to.
